Wood Shop Classes
Taking a project-based or skill-based wood shop class at Inspired Lumber Workshop offers so many benefits. First, it provides necessary hands-on experience that allow individuals to learn and refine practical woodworking skills, from learning to use the tools available within the Shop to crafting intricate designs. Wood Shop FAQ's
1. Do I have to be a member to join a class?
No. Unless stated in the class description, all of our classes at the Workshop are open to everyone.
2. Do I need to take a Safety Class before attending a Wood Shop class?
No. Safety Classes are only required if you are becoming a Member and want to have autonomous use of the Wood Shop. Modified safety instructions are provided with ALL Wood Shop classes on the specific tools that will be utilized for the class.
3. Do I need to bring my own wood for a Wood Shop class?
No. The price of the class is inclusive of everything that you will need, unless stated in the description.
4. Do I need to bring safety glasses and an apron?
o. We have plenty of glasses and aprons for everyone in the workshop, but if you have favorites that you'd like to bring, you are welcome to do so.
5. Is there any required paperwork that needs completed?
Yes! Every person that participates in a class inside the Wood Shop is required to sign a Liability Waiver and Emergency Contact form. Please arrive a few minutes ahead oof your scheduled class time to take care of business so that class can start on time.
