Resin Tile Coaster and Trivet Class

In this class, award winning artist Shannon Eis offers a basic introduction on how to use 2-part epoxy resin and how to make a set of 4 tile coasters and matching trivet. Students will have a set of 4 finished resin coasters and a matching trivet by end of class. Pieces must be left overnight to cure. Students will have lots of amazing choices to tint/color their resin pieces. They will learn about using mica powder pigments, alcohol inks and other things in resin. They will also have a wide selection of crushed glass, mica flakes, glitters of all sizes and colors, etc. to make a unique, one-of-a-kind piece. All supplies are provided for you. The epoxy resin that we are using is called Art Resin. It is non-toxic and is safe to use in an open area without masks. If you are sensitive to smells, feel free to bring your own mask as well.
