Cutting Board Workshop

Create something beautiful, useful, and entirely your own in our hands-on Cutting Board Workshop.

During this class, you’ll design and build a custom cutting board using a curated selection of traditional hardwoods. Each species offers its own natural color, grain pattern, and character, allowing you to create a one-of-a-kind design that is just as suited for display as it is for everyday use.

No woodworking experience is needed. Our instructors will guide you through each step of the process, including selecting and arranging your hardwood pieces, preparing the layout, completing the glue-up, shaping and sanding the surface smooth, and applying a food-safe finish. Along the way, you’ll learn foundational woodworking skills and gain experience using professional tools in a safe, supportive workshop environment.

The result is a durable, handcrafted cutting board that reflects your own style and can be used in your kitchen, displayed while entertaining, or given as a meaningful handmade gift.

Make It a Lazy Susan

With a few additional steps, your cutting board can be transformed into a functional Lazy Susan. This optional upgrade adds a rotating base, making it perfect for serving appetizers, displaying condiments, organizing a countertop, or creating a centerpiece for your table.

Add Personalization

Laser engraving is available for an additional fee. Add a name, date, family recipe, meaningful phrase, logo, or simple design to make your finished piece even more personal.
