Family Yard Game Workshop

Kick off your summer with sawdust, laughter, and quality time at our Family Game Workshop — a hands-on experience like no other! Designed for families of up to four participants, this one-of-a-kind woodworking event invites you and your loved ones into the heart of our wood shop to build classic backyard games you’ll enjoy all season long and for years to come.

During this interactive workshop, your family will work together to create a full set of custom-crafted games, including:

• Personalized Cornhole Boards – Cut, sand, and assemble your own regulation-sized set, with the option to add stenciled designs or your family name.

• Wall-Mounted Ring Toss Game – Great for the garage, patio, or basement game room!

• Yard Yahtzee or Farkle – Oversized dice and a game bucket, perfect for camping trips and backyard parties.

• Ring Hook Game – A fun and simple game to hang on your porch or in your rec room.

Under the guidance of our experienced instructors, you’ll learn to safely use a variety of tools including the table saw, miter saw, drill press, router, sanders, and more. Each step of the project is broken down to make it accessible and fun for all skill levels.

Families with children aged 7 and up are welcome. Tool use will be age-appropriate, and younger participants may focus more on assembly, painting, and decorating tasks. Safety is our top priority, and we’ll ensure each family member feels confident and involved in the process.
