What to Expect
Dive into the joy of crafting while making bat boxes out of wood. Unleash your creativity as you use saws and other tools to shape and assemble these special homes for our nocturnal friends. It's a perfect blend of DIY fun and environmental stewardship, creating a memorable and purposeful gathering for all.
You'll be working in the woodshop, getting up close and personal with the power tools that you'll need to craft your (and the bats!) own bat box, a woodworking project specifically chosen by the birthday girl herself, in order to help her favorite nocturnal animals. So make sure that you wear comfortable clothes, just no hoodies with anything that hangs down, or anything that is too loose. There will be sawdust, and lots of it, so plan accordingly. It's all part of the fun!
Please arrive approxaimtely 15 minutes early so that you can sign the neccesary liability paperwork prior to class starting.
