Rotary Club of Toledo Tabletop Peace Pole

Each participant will create a 20" tabletop Peace Pole from solid oak, using true 2" x 2" hardwood with 1.5" oak overlays. The weight, natural character and durability of the oak give each finished piece the feel of an heirloom, something meant to be displayed, shared and kept for years to come.

Around the crafting table, participants will work side by side, share conversation, build new connections and enjoy the kind of fellowship that is at the heart of Rotary. Whether you are a longtime Rotarian or simply curious about the organization, this is an opportunity to experience Rotary through friendship, service and a shared commitment to peace.

Using four-language peace stencils, paints and stains, you’ll personalize your Peace Pole while learning basic woodworking and finishing techniques with guidance from the Inspired Lumber Workshop team.
