What to Expect

Christian's Corner Foundation, Lucas County Veterans Services Commission, and Inspired Lumber Workshop are pleased to announce an innovative partnership aimed at supporting veterans through a FREE 6-week, project-based learning experience. This collaborative initiative reflects a shared commitment to empower veterans with new skills and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

The free 6-week program, aptly named Salute to Carpentry, will offer veterans the chance to engage in a hands-on, meaningful program that will not only enhance their skill sets but also foster a sense of camaraderie and purpose. Participants will have the opportunity to learn woodworking techniques from experts at Inspired Lumber Workshop, allowing them to craft a custom project while gaining valuable knowledge and vocational skills.
