What to Expect
Salute to Carpentry is a hands-on, skill-building woodworking course designed exclusively for veterans and first responders. Participants gain valuable carpentry experience, unlimited access to the woodshop, and an opportunity to join our S2C Build Team—a purpose-driven crew of makers who give back by crafting real change in our community.
The next cohort kicks off on Tuesday, September 23; 10AM-2PM and ends on October 28, 2025.
To sign up for the Salute to Carpentry program, start by RSVPing for the session you’d like to attend. During this registration process, you will be directed to the InspiredLumberProject.org website where you’ll need to complete and submit an application specifically for Veterans or First Responders. Once your application is received, our team will contact you directly to guide you through the remaining steps. Please note that additional documentation will be required: Veterans must provide a copy of their DD-214, and First Responders must provide verification of their current employment status.
