Our Wood Shop is a hands-on space where you can build your own projects using real tools and equipment. Whether you're brand new or have years of experience, you'll have access to everything you need—saws, sanders, workbenches, clamps, and more.

This space is all about creativity and community. Work alongside others, learn new skills, and turn your ideas into something real.

We offer flexible membership hours, so you can come in when it works for you. You’ll also get access to exclusive tools, support, and discounted classes.

Want some guidance? We host woodworking classes for all skill levels—no pre-requisites unless noted. From cutting boards to furniture, you’ll learn by doing.

Our Wood Shop Classes are designed to teach fundamental woodworking skills through hands-on projects in a fully equipped shop.

 

Whether you’re a beginner learning to use power tools for the first time or looking to expand your skills with more advanced builds, our classes offer a supportive, safety-focused environment to help you gain confidence and create something you’re proud of.

    This class has been designed to empower women to feel comfortable using common household power tools and instruct them on how to use them safely and effectively. In the class, students will receive instruction on how to use each of the tools as they construct a classic, sturdy step stool.

Safety Class

No Prerequisites Needed for Wood Shop Classes! You don’t need to take a separate Safety Class or Intro to Woodworking Class to participate in our Wood Shop classes. We cover all tool safety and usage protocols specific to each project during the class itself. Only participants who wish to gain independent, autonomous access to the full Wood Shop are required to complete our Safety & Intro to Woodworking course. Youth ages 12–17 are welcome to join any Wood Shop class but must be accompanied at all times by a current Workshop member.
